Over the years, tourism has imposed itself and developed as the most important branch of the economy in many countries.
Following world trends, keeping up with the times, but also listening to the needs of tourists, a new, young branch of tourism has developed - halal tourism.
The term "halal" in Islam has a broad meaning, but when it comes to tourism, it primarily means that tourists of the Islamic faith are met and provided with certain criteria that do not conflict with Islamic regulations and rules. Those who live in accordance with Islam and who are raised by Islam do not neglect their beliefs in any segment of life.
This form of tourism has been developing very quickly in the past few years, and the reason for this is precisely the growing pressure and demand for it.
The fact is that more and more people are turning to this type of vacation, even regardless of their religious orientation and whether they wear a hijab or not.
“"Privacy, cleanliness, equipment, the possibility of performing prayer/namaz, serving food that is prepared in a halal way and does not contain pork (if served), the prohibition of alcohol on the premises are some of the most important conditions for a certain facility or service to be worthy of the halal name and to meet the standards that determine what is allowed and what is not according to Islamic regulations."”
Fulfilling all the aforementioned criteria, we can freely say that halal tourism is one of the most luxurious, but also the most beautiful forms of tourism... because "halal" is acceptable to everyone. This activity includes the organization and implementation of travel, accommodation, leisure activities, tours, recreation, and the like.
